The Ghost of Major Heape

Over the past couple of centuries the Bay Horse Country Inn has seen landlords come and go. Over the years this has been the case for one of the more memorable ones. A true gentleman, Major Tony Heape resided at the Bay Horse in the mid 1950's and still resides in the older parts of the inn to this very day. His spirit has been seen by guests and staff alike in the old buttery or standing by the bar enjoying an ale (although a spirit would be more to his liking).

Any person who bring undeniable proof of the Major's lingering presence within the walls of this inn will be invited to stay as your hosts' guests in the Major's room for the night.
